Longer tasks, who doesn't want that?

Updated on
Langere taken, dat wil toch iedereen?

No, we don't want that either. More efficient calendar management, on the other hand, is what gets us excited!

Users can now more easily free up time in their calendars to work on a specific task. Select an empty time slot in your calendar and click on the task. From there, you can add the relevant task and description, and customize details like visibility and Do Not Disturb settings. This way, you can now work on a specific task uninterrupted for as long as you need. You'll also see the task in your task list and receive a reminder until it's completed.

By the way, since earlier this year, Google Keep reminders are also automatically saved as tasks. This means users can now view their Keep reminders as tasks in the Calendar or Tasks app, and even ask questions about them in the Gemini app via the Tasks extension. So whether you save something from Keep, Gmail, Calendar, Chat, Docs, or Gemini, Google Tasks ensures it's up to date and accessible across your entire Workspace!
