Simply select an image in Google Docs, Vids, or Slides and edit it with one click using the full suite of precise AI tools from Pics, without having to switch apps or tabs. Furthermore, Pics offers the collaboration features you know from other Workspace apps: you can invite teammates to collaborate, share via a link, and create or open Pics in Google Drive. In addition, in the coming weeks, you will be able to search for, open, and edit virtually any image stored in Drive with a single click using Pics. Your creations are automatically and seamlessly synchronized across all your Google Workspace platforms!
AskGemini overview in Gmail
If the language in your Workspace is set to English, you can get started with AskGemini in your Gmail for any search query you might have. You will receive immediate summaries that combine context from multiple conversations. No more searching your inbox for scattered details: you get exactly the answers you need. This rollout naturally fits perfectly into the idea of the intelligent workspace, where your various apps connect seamlessly. Hopefully available in Dutch soon!

Workspace Studio has expanded with external webhooks and integrations for your workplace apps. With these new functionalities, users can seamlessly link custom Google Apps Script functions and integrate third-party services (Asana, Confluence, Hubspot, Jira, Mailchimp, Quickbooks, Salesforce, Slack).

You can set custom, persistent instructions for AskGemini. These instructions ensure that Gemini always adapts to your style, tone, and formatting preferences, without you having to restate them in every conversation. This saves time and ensures consistency in Mail, Drive, Slides, Sheets, and Chat.
Users can add personal instructions and rules via the side panel, such as "Never respond with bullet points," "Always include three bullet points at the top when summarizing documents," or "Use a concise and professional tone for all my documents." Simply indicate in the settings that this should remain a customized setting, and voilà!
