What will you be doing?
At CLOUDMEN, as a System Engineer, you are involved in the IT infrastructure of our customers from A to Z. You are the linchpin in designing, implementing and managing complex IT environments. You support our customers proactively, both on-site and remotely, and communicate smoothly and professionally.
- You design, implement and manage our customers' IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on system and network management.
- You advise customers on the optimal use of software and hardware, and develop tailor-made technical solutions.
- You are responsible for the setup and migration of new customers, including the transfer of data and email traffic to Google Workspace.
- You optimize and guarantee the continuity of critical systems through proactive management and maintenance.
- You manage the IT park and provide advice on a wide range of devices (PC, Mac, iPhone, Android).
- Your expertise includes the configuration and management of: Network hardware (pfSense and UniFi), NAS solutions (Synology), access control and video surveillance (UniFi), video conferencing (Google Meet), ERP systems, PaperCut, MDM (Jamf / Mosyle), VoIP solutions, etc.
- You monitor the latest technologies, evaluate their potential and implement them where necessary.
- You work in a dynamic B2B environment where new software features and smart hardware solutions provide continuous challenges.
This role offers a varied range of tasks, with a mix of daily support and long-term, complex projects. We are not a typical helpdesk; our System Engineers work closely together and develop innovative technical solutions. Given the complexity of the matter, collaboration with colleagues is essential.
Who are you?
- You have completed a training course in a relevant field or have acquired thorough IT knowledge through work experience or passion.
- You have a strong general knowledge of ICT systems and network management and preferably some practical knowledge of Google Workspace (the more the better).
- You are communicative and enjoy helping our customers. You are solution-oriented and have a healthy "I'll fix it" mentality.
- With your curious mind, you stay up to date with new technologies and don't hesitate to experiment with them.
- You can function in a team with the necessary independence. You can think analytically, have a flexible attitude and an eye for detail.
- You are trustworthy and honest, because you have access to a lot of sensitive information. So you do the right thing, even when no one is looking.
- You speak at least fluent Dutch and some English.
What will you be doing?
As a Support Engineer at CLOUDMEN you are involved in the IT infrastructure of our customers from A to Z. You support our customers with these matters, on site at their office or remotely by telephone and e-mail, in a smooth but formal manner.
- You provide advice and answer customer questions regarding software and hardware choices, and help find solutions if necessary.
- You assist with starting up and migrating new customers, transferring data and email traffic from other providers to Google Workspace .
- You are responsible for the customer's system and network management and perform preventive maintenance. You manage the IT park and advise on different types of devices (PC, Mac, iPhone, Android). You optimize and guarantee the continuity of the critical systems.
- You provide advice on and help configure: Network hardware (pfSense and UniFi), NAS solutions (Synology), access control and video surveillance (UniFi), video conferencing (Google Meet), ERP systems, PaperCut, MDM (Jamf / Mosyle), VoIP solutions, etc.
- You follow new technologies and possibly explore and implement them. Daily new software features, smart hardware solutions in a B2B environment always provide varied challenges. The world does not stand still!
Expect a lot of variety in the daily tasks, with new fun challenges and projects regularly. The role is a combination of daily support and larger projects that run over a longer period.
Please note that we are not a typical helpdesk . Our support engineers are focused on collaboration and coming up with technical solutions. Given the complexity of the products and services, no one knows everything, so close collaboration with your colleagues is essential.
