Google Chat is becoming an increasingly important part of Workspace. Last time, we talked about the friendly apps from A to Z, but Chat now also integrates better with Mail and Meet. Read on to learn more!
Want better follow-up after your meeting? Continue your meeting in Chat!
Your Google Meet messages during meetings are available in Google Chat. This means that meaningful feedback sent during the meeting, or important resources and links shared, are now easily accessible to meeting participants after the meeting in a shared Google Chat conversation.
Meeting participants can now also reply to messages with emojis, share images and files directly in Google Meet, or send pre-read documents and other meeting materials to the group in Google Chat before the meeting, and these resources will be available in Google Meet throughout the call. This launch also consolidates all your messages and conversations in Google Chat, making it easy to find all relevant files in one place.

Keep each other's inboxes clean and share an email in Google Chat!
This feature makes it easy to share a conversation from your Gmail inbox with a colleague or Google Space. No need to start your chat with, "Did you see the email I forwarded?" or dig through your inbox to find the message being discussed.
Conversely, you can also start a chat from a Gmail thread with existing recipients, a subgroup, or a new group. The email will be automatically forwarded, and recipients can open it directly via a link in Chat, without having to switch tabs.
